Greenland leading out Dunne.

After the flat-out Junior Finals, the Elite racers are now against the clock for the first time this week. See who has come out on top from the first timed session of the weekend below.

In the Elite Women’s racing Camille Balanche was unstoppable as she held the lead through all five splits, she is looking tough to beat at her home race. Coming closest to the 2022 overall champion was Rachel Atherton who is looking very fast this week and could be a real threat for not just the podium but maybe the win this weekend. Completing the top three was Vali Höll as she crossed the line just over six seconds back.

For the Elite Men, it was Andreas Kolb who kick-started his weekend with a top result. Andreas managed to keep consistently within the top three riders to ensure he came out on top once he reached the finish. Loris Vergier would end his day in 2nd although he was still nearly half a second back on the fastest time. The only other rider within a second of the hard-charging Austrian was Angel Suarez taking third place, 0.823 back.
