World Cup racing is back and to kick off the new race schedule we have the Junior qualifying session ahead of tomorrow’s first-ever live broadcast. Valentina Roa Sanchez was the rider to beat in the women’s timed session as she led from the first split. 2nd placed Erice Van Leuven had a slow start to her run but managed to pull back around two seconds across her run to go into second. Lisa Bouladou completed the top three women just over six seconds off the pace. Pinkbike Racing’s Aimi Kenyon crossed the line in fourth.

In the men’s session, Henri Kiefer went green at every split topping the timing sheet by almost a second. Trek Factory Racing’s Bodhi Kuhn came closest to the top time after a consistent run seeing him hold the 2nd place position from split two onwards. Third place went to Henri Kiefer’s teammate Lucas Lagneau with a time putting him around three seconds off the pace.
