A Fundraising Success
2023 was the third edition of Whistler’s increasingly infamous Back Forty mountain bike race. The event, organized by WORCA, is a fundraiser for new trail construction in Whistler and the Indigenous Life Sport Academy.

For organizers, this year’s sold out event was a huge success and a major step forward for the Back Forty. 210 riders braved the rain and took on the unique three-stage time trial XC format. No one got hurt. No one got lost. There was plenty of food and beer. Bring on next year!

This year’s event raised $12,034.
$9,025 will go towards new trails in Whistler and $3,008 will go to ILSA.

We hope to see you next year!
