The 2nd edition of the Canadian Rockies 24 is set to take place this August 26-27th in Canmore, Alberta.
This 24 hour mountain bike race will take place on the classic trails of the beautiful Canmore Nordic Centre on a 15km racer-designed course. The event is open to teams and solo riders, with all abilities are welcome.
The event is aimed at delivering a relaxed, festival-like atmosphere, with camping and great times racing bikes at one of the most beautiful venues in the world in the Alberta Rocky Mountains.
Last year, the 1st edition was a great success with the added excitement of hosting the WEMBO Solo 24 HR Americas Championships. The organizing crew includes experienced racers Leighton Poidevin and Cory Wallace (4 x 24HR World Champion). They are eyeing up to host a World Championship event further down the road as the event continues to grow.
