Words: Matt Summers

During the summer of 2022 a friend of mine gave me permission to build a mountain bike feature on his property before it gets developed into a subdivision.

As him and I walked the property we came across the perfect location overlooking Mt.Begbie. Throughout the summer my friends and I took the time to build this picture perfect location to ride our bikes at.
As the summer slowly started coming to an end we all came together and built a wooden ramp to put in place for the giant landing that was built over the period of 4 months.

Dane and I got ahold of our friend Bruno Long to come out and shoot this location intending to make the most of the morning sunrise capturing the moments of our first session. A 5:30 AM wake up call, still dark and misty as we hiked our bikes to the top of the roll in overlooking Mt.Begbie. We patiently watched the sun crest onto the Glacier waiting for that perfect moment to drop.
