Words: First Light Frames

Works in Progress is a public open house featuring local framebuilders, bag makers, component manufacturers and everything in between. Some using tools and techniques which are hundreds of years old, and others using newer technologies and materials like 3-D printing and carbon fibre. All making awesome things locally, and happy to share their ideas and answer questions about what they do.

Date & Time: Saturday, June 17th, noon–5pm

Cost: FREE, everyone welcome

Location: Burnout Cafe, 2032 East Hastings, Vancouver, BC

Schedule:
• 12 – 5pm – Walk around and talk with the makers all day long
• 1:00pm – Live Brazing Demo with Danielle Schön of Schön Studios
• 2:30pm – 3D Printing Demo with Brian Park (from Pinkbike)

Participants: AIRLabs, Archibald Cycles, Bike Crud, Bim Bam Baby Bikes, Firstlight Frameworks, Found in the Mountains, HMPL, Krutch Custom Bicycles, Pretender (Bad Ideas by Brian Park), ReClaim Designs, Schön Studios.
